Here we have a very nicely engineered 3 1/2" gauge pseudo LMS Fowler class 4 tank! We say 'pseudo' because although very neatly and nicely done, the sizes and shapes of the model don't scale correctly to a Class 4 tank, and so whilst giving a nice impression of the prototype enough to be perfectly clear about what it is trying to be,..... it's not quite dimensionally accurate! That said, it's a very attractive thing in it's own right!
We think that it might be based upon LBSC's Princess Marina, Stanier Mogul,.... but we aren't sure,.... any thoughts?
She is a really well made little thing with two independent axle pumps, both with separate footplate mounted bypass valves, and there's a large double acting hand pump in the bunker as well. The boiler looks nicely made and can of course be given a full hydraulic and steam test so she is ready to hit the track and play again.
